Located in the heart of Northern England our B&B / Shepherd’s Hut is in the perfect central location for exploring the Northern Pennines, Lake District, Hadrian's Wall country, Northumberland and the Yorkshire Dales.

The traditional stone built cottage is situated in the hamlet of Snaisgill, one mile outside the picturesque market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale. Set in a quiet scenic location the property lies within four acres comprising of a large walled garden, stable area, paddock and our very own quarry!

As part of the North Pennines it is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty (ANOB) and a UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation) global geopark. Set very near the Pennine Way its scenery and location make it a special place to visit.

The accommodation is made up of 3 double en suite rooms and a Shepherd's Hut. Two of the rooms are located in the main cottage, the third room and Shepherds Hut lie within the walled garden area close to the cottage. Please note that pets are only allowed in the Garden Room and Shepherd’s Hut.
